THE LAUNCH PROJECT
Reynolds Gallery invites Richmond artists working in all media to submit proposals for an exhibition in one of the gallery’s upstairs spaces. The Launch Project is a solo exhibition which will spotlight work from one undiscovered contemporary artist in the Richmond community. This program is aimed to provide an opportunity to young, emerging artists practicing outside of the traditional gallery structure who may not have had formal training or representation. Our goal is to help enrich the artist’s career by providing support for artistic professionalism including writing statements, curation, installation, and sales.
The deadline for submissions is 11:59 PM on Tuesday, September 1st.
Work will be reviewed by the gallery team and acceptance notification will be sent Tuesday, September 15th.
The exhibition will open Friday, November 6th with an opening reception from 6 – 8 pm, in concurrence with the downstairs exhibitions.
All shows close Wednesday, December 23rd

- captions include title, date, medium, dimensions (h x w x d), retail price if applicable
- please name all JPGs with the format: LastName_TitleofWork.jpg
The gallery will only consider proposals by Richmond artists who have not yet held a solo exhibition. All work must be finished and work within the exhibition floor plan shown below.

Reynolds Gallery retains 50% sales commission from the sale of the work. The artist is responsible for arranging the arrival and return transport of exhibited artwork, as well as any framing and production costs. It is understood all exhibition work will remain at the gallery for the duration of the exhibition.
